I accidentally did this and found a capture of screen-shot in my photo  library. .. Apparently if you want to take the screen shot of a page you are currently viewing, you could just press and hold the iPhone’s Home button, and then click on the Sleep button on top of the phone.
Again, to capture the screen you are currently at:Â
- Hold iPhone’s Home Button
- While holding Home Button click Sleep buttonÂ
The screen of the iPhone will flash briefly white while a screenshot is captured into the photo library.(You can see the screenshot on the camera roll area of the pictures folder.)
Isn’t this neat? Well, then again, what am going to do with such a feature?Â
-Capture anything online via safari for wallpaper!
- save settings of an account – email/calendar etc
- capture snapshot of my bank accounts while logged in any bank-app so I don’t have to log-in more than once a day
-capture any error thrown by a third party app for reference
well…this small list is a good validation that it IS a cool feature!

I am with cold and slight fever since this weekend and needless to say, it is so easy to be annoyed and irritable at the provocation of almost anything. Today, after some temporary relief from my off-the-counter medicines to be at work, my brain just clogged off of logic.
I am browsing/working/researching/Googling/just spending my time in Google Chrome. To be honest, this is second to iPhone that i have fallen for, without much deliberation. Anyway, i am in the middle of something and I need to desperately figure out what “Skeuomorph” means. I type it in the omnibox, at least thats what i intended to, and all i see Wikipedia page for it instead of search results.
Of course that would happen because i am in FireFox. I would be perplexed if i were in IE though! some stupid search results for domain names would have annoyed me even more! Damn it, how did i end up of FireFox? Dint we break up yet? Oh yes, Chrome is still iffy with few sites – Cant watch Family Guy on FOX On Demand and other very useful sites I’m sure.
I guess it might take some time for FireFox to be truly replaced. Then again, good job Chrome! If you got me hooked to you and got me wanting to break up with FireFox, you have come a long way – very easily, quite charming i say!

I just ran Windows XP SP3 updates that kicked in to be started yesterday..since the update, i am unable to launch Chrome. Well, first i thought i messed up something after i bought my new HDMI Gateway 22″ monitor, and then maybe not!
Even though i click on the shortcut/application that should launch Chrome, there is no process that runs on its name….then a little permutations and combinations of killing few processes worked!!
If you kill the process named “citivan.exe” (leave ctfmon.exe alone!), Chrome will launch normally. I am typing onto my blog from Chrome, so it works! Oh well, sneaky ways to chop off non-Microsoft products huh?

Since the debut of Google Chrome, internet is swamped with its cool features, reviews and what not. I don’t think this is going to cool off anytime soon. I do realize that Chrome is in beta and to complain is too early
I am just being me, so here are few pointers for improvement in future updates maybe?
-Export options: Well, just as we can import bookmarks from FireFox/IE, it would be great to export as well – at least until we have everything needed updated on Chrome.
-A gazillion add-ons/extensions like in FireFox: We all know how how millions are addicted to FireFox and other browsers alike. I personally cannot live without Fox marks, Sxipper, Google notebook, Scientific calculator sitting on the status bar! Ill stop the list just with these to avoid digressing too much. OK, maybe not gazillion or millions, i am lazy to lookup the stats, Google yourself!
-Some sort of integration with google accounts (Gmail/Calendar/Docs) directly onto the interface of Chrome?
Thats for now, i am sure there are more to come..for now i am pretty much happy with whats already included: love the tabs as separate process each with its own resources, clean and simple (shiny!!) interface, and its from GOOGLE!!!

It is quite obvious that iPhones these days will definitely be full of apps after the 2.0 software. My home screen is full and so are the next two! Cluttered, confusing, colorful and meaningless. While i am happy, very happy, with these possibilities as apps, i am still disappointed in iPhone.
Amongst possible other ideas, here are few changes that would greatly benefit me! Maybe a consideration for Apple to think of in future updates?
- If only iPhone had categories on home screen that are customizable..say i get to add categories: Games, Utilities, Settings, Apple etc… I could dump all the built in apps into Apple and the rest are up to what ever i feel like!
- What about the ugly default theme? Who are you guys at Apple kidding? Every phone out there which is a little on the higher end has themes. Are you saving these silly but essential features for future updates so that we feel happy from time to time!
- COPY PASTE is not supported!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant put enough exclamations here
Apple…what are you upto! I have a hunch you guys are purposefully holding on to these features for future..where we all iPhone users feel silly and happy when they are out! uh! Grow up!
