Does anything change in INDIA?
i came here for a lot of reasons, mostly for having a good time at home. Somehow nothing has changed here in the last 8 months. Hyderabad is still the same, if anything, more roads are dug up disrupting the traffic. Heat is competing with humidity and is a unpleasant vacation, if i can call it one!
Good Resolutions for Indian Cricket team after getting kicked out of ICC WC 2007!
1. Get an economy ticket for Greg Chappel back to Australia .
2. All companies should withdraw all their millions of dollars sponsorship to players with immediate effect.
3. Have Sachin announce retirement before leaving to India.
4. Ask Dravid step down as captain.
5. Drop Dhoni.
6. Indian public to decide and vote if India needs to play cricket at all or just focus on Kabaddi.
7. If still playing, ICC to include India with Netherlands , Scotland and Canada and ask India to qualify themselves for the next world cup.
8. Indian public should ensure that stadium goes empty during India matches.
9. STOP THE BLOODY HYPE about top order, how many runs these guys made at school.
10. Don’t allow anyone to receive the team when they land in India.
Rahul Dravid’s post match comments were as predicted. “THEY (SL) PLAYED BETTER THAN US. WE KEPT LOSING WICKETS AT REGULAR INTERVALSâ€. Common who are you kidding?
I am an Indian, but I am rooting for Bangladesh to win against Bermuda . India does not deserve to go the next stage.
ICC Cricket World Cup 2007
I cannot ignore this topic, being an Indian. I enjoy it, especially the last hour of the game
I especially cannot ignore it, when Bangladesh won handsomely with 5 wickets in hand and after having outplayed India in both bowling and batting. “Remarkably, most of the batsmen that did the work for them were in their teens.”, says Official ICC CWC-07 site. Famous win for Bangladesh!!
India packed up for 191?
India lost 5 wickets for 2 runs in a later-order collapse before the last pair put on 32 off 28 balls to take India to 191 all out in their opening ICC Cricket World Cup match.
Zaheer Khan and Munaf Patel each score 15, slogging their way in the last three overs. That Sucks!!
And is this real? Pakistan knocked out!
I expected them to be for sure finalists! Ah, no match of India Vs Pakistan? That is a loss!
Ah Well! Life Aint Easy!!!
Here is the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 Schedule. Gotta see how India vs Bermuda Turns out!
We better Win BIG!
