During my googling around for usb drivers for my modem that came with INSIGHT, i found practically nothing.

So what if someone has to reinstall thier OS? what if you loose the CD and need it??

Oh yeah, call technical support ! We all know how that works!

So if anybody needs Thompson RCA DCM425 modem USB drivers, here they are!

DOWNLOAD: drivers(ZIP)

TO LOCATION: C:\windows\system32\drivers

I am looking at a lot of people struggling to find these drivers, and am glad to help. Feel free to have your say at the comments section!

This might be a stupid question, but once I’ve downloaded the drivers to that location, what do you do next? I figured it should just work but it doesn’t.

After you download the zip file, you will have to unzip the contents(using WinZip/PKZip/etc) to the following location.

C:\windows\system32\drivers
(on winXP)

Extract the file from the zip folder that you downloaded from my site to : C:\windows\system32\drivers (or whichever is your system drivers folder).

This driver was archived well before Windows 7 was released … I doubt it will work but you could always try to be sure!

Sadly, we only have Windows 2000 Pro at my house, hopefully it will still work though. I’ll comment again if it does.
